We’re always on the hunt for events we think are worth shouting about and this next night promises to be no exception. Our lovely pal Nikki and her mate Tom over at Acute Promotions are launching a monthly night in our neck of the woods so we thought we’d fire you guys the necessary deets for the launch night next week…
During the complete and utter mentality of last week, FatKidOnFire’s Facebook and Twitter followers will have noticed a little announcement about an event that’s occurring in two weekends time
Seeing as we’ve just launched our new website, FKOF got a little (national) recognition and because it’s the time of year for giving we thought we’d get a little shindig arranged. A get together of some of our favourite people, some of the biggest Djs FKOF has (/will) featured over our six month existence and some of the best audio equipment available (yes, we’re talking Funktion-One). As it happens, our boy Sai and his F.F.R.R. crew are having their Christmas bash at the same time so we’re joining forces and bringing you FAKE KID ON FIRE in association with Acute Promotions, DBD Clothing and the one and only makeitgood. Seeing as we’re celebrating, it’s also makeitgood’s first birthday!
All the details you need are on the above flyer - but we’re bringing Fused Forces, Drama, Tom Breaks and a whole host of other sick in the mouth Djs. Two rooms (hip-hop and filthy bass), lots of booze (late license) and FREE ENTRY ALL NIGHT.
Be there and come celebrate one of the best years yet.

So last week we told you guys about an event Audio dOughnuts, BassDome and DBD Clothing were throwing at Cable. We’re not ones to turn down the chance to party so on Friday night we headed down with the trusty FatKidOnFire Lumix (which was badly behaved) and a Lomo fisheye to take photos and videos for those of you who couldn’t make it.

FatKidOnFire party #1 is just over a week away. If you’re available Saturday 28th August (yes, we are aware there are a few other events on that weekend) from 10pm until 6am Sunday 29th feel free to make your way to Mass in Brixton for a night of booze, bass and large amounts of banter. FatKidOnFire Djs Ropper, OhMyJosh and special guest Synamatix are on the decks, along with Sai’s Wobble Squad, the Squitty Bubbler boys, Inspector Dubplate (!!!) and many, many more. This night promises to be a night you’ll (definitely not) remember…

If you remember the Elephanto interview I wrote a few weeks back, you’ll notice I hinted on FatKidOnFire party #1. Seeing as part of the FatKidOnFire backbone is music (mainly music of teh dutty dubsteps variety), I’d been wanting to get all the FKOF Djs under one roof and throw one mean mother of a party. (This realisation is still a little far off seeing as Dj Scooter, Jah-Killin and Robin aren’t based in England but it’ll happen. One day!)
